Lamination Joint
This is a restrained type of joint and can be used forFiber-glass Pipes.It is also known as Butt & Wrap Joint. The lamination joint is used to join plain-ended Pipe or Fittings sections. The process of a lamination joint is preparation of the pipe surfaces followed by of application of specific thickness of resin impregnated glass reinforcement is wrapped over a specific length around the pipes to be joined. The thickness and bond area of the lamination are related to diameter and pressure rating of the Pipe.

Curing time depends on the resin system, ambient temperature, and site conditions. Typically, the joint is allowed to cure fully before pressure testing or commissioning.
